Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all aspects of fire alarm projects, air sampling equipment, BDA systems and related subcontractor work. You will coordinate design, materials, schedules and field needs with field superintendents and other project managers.

Responsibilities include communicating project status, developing strategies to meet milestones, assisting with estimating and change orders, and ensuring client documentation requirements are met.

Qualifications

• NICET certification preferred.
• Experience in large scale and hi-tech fire alarm projects preferred.
• Design and layout experience preferred.
• Estimating and job costing experience preferred.
• Experience with VESDA and BDA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the fire alarm, air sampling, BDA and related systems and subcontractor management.
• Communicate project status with customer and internal teams.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet schedules and milestones.
• Assist with design, bill of materials, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with field superintendents and other project managers for project needs and progress.
• Order materials and equipment for projects.
• Assist in estimating, change orders, and project durations as requested.
• Fulfill client documentation requirements.
• Other duties as required.
