Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all aspects of fire alarm projects, air sampling equipment, BDA, and subcontractor management. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, develop schedules, assist in design and BOM, and drive on-site progress.

The role requires experience in large-scale fire alarm deployments, NECITET validation preferred, OSHA 30, and a proven ability to lead field teams in fast-paced construction environments.

Qualifications

• NICET certification preferred.
• Experience in large scale hi-tech fire alarm projects.
• Design and layout experience.
• Estimating and job costing experience.
• Experience with VESDA and BDA systems.
• Experience in working with General Contractors.
• Experience in building teams and assessing technician ability.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Experience in high paced, large construction projects.
• Regular and reliable attendance; extended hours/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the fire alarm projects and related systems.
• Communicate project status with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and execute scheduling and milestone strategies.
• Assist with design, BOM, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with field superintendents and other PMs.
• Order materials and equipment for projects.
• Assist in estimating, change orders, and durations.
• Fulfill client documentation requirements.
• Other duties as required.
