Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for an installation support role in the United States. You will assist in completing install tasks for electronic systems, following instructions and blueprints, and ensuring proper startup and testing of equipment.

Responsibilities include handling equipment up to 70 lbs, maintaining a clean site, using safety gear, and possibly working extra shifts. A high school diploma, driver’s license, and drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and read complex blueprints/diagrams.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Physically capable of carrying 50–70 lbs and working in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, including start up through testing of systems.
• Carry and move equipment and tools up to 50–70 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Wear safety equipment; may work weekends/shifts to meet demands.
• Submit required paperwork daily.
• Perform other duties as requested.
