Job summary

Johnson Controls in New York seeks a driven installer assistant to support the installation of electronic product lines and standard electronic systems. You will follow instructions, read complex blueprints, and help with startup through final testing, carrying equipment up to 40 pounds.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50–70 lbs, and willingness to work odd hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read and understand construction blueprints and specifications.
• Construction experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Capable of lifting 50–70 lbs and performing physical labor.
• Able to work in ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of electronic systems from start to finish.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and blueprints.
• Carry and move equipment and tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and dispose of trash.
• Submit daily required paperwork.
