Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector to support inspection and maintenance capabilities. This role collaborates with the sales team, field projects, and clients to ensure fire alarm systems are inspected and maintained in code-compliance.

A strong focus on attention to detail and effective communication is required. The position involves coordinating testing, logging inspection reports, and working under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and grow in fire-life safety.
• Ability to obtain knowledge of NFPA code requirements.
• OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Good organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing system layouts and coordinating with the systems and service departments for successful testing and inspection.
• Assist with testing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Assist with delivering testing on schedule and within cost budgets.
• Responsible for logging and transmitting inspection reports via technical device.
• Work under tight deadlines.
• Comply with standards and procedures of industry and Sciens safety programs/policies.
