Job summary

SuperHero Fire Protection, LLC seeks an experienced Fire Alarm System Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for fire alarm and life-safety installations. You will interpret construction documents and prepare competitive bids, working with project teams to ensure code compliance and technical accuracy.

The role requires 2–5+ years in estimating, NFPA 72 knowledge, and strong communication skills. Office-based with site visits and periodic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating fire alarm or life-safety systems, typically 2–5+ years.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm components and installation practices.
• Familiarity with NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with estimating tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Develop material lists and labor estimates for fire alarm installations.
• Prepare bid proposals with pricing, clarifications, and VE options.
• Coordinate with vendors, PMs, and engineers to verify estimates.
• Track bid status and support process improvements.
