Job summary

HIFI in New York is seeking an experienced Recruiter to own searches end to end for engineering, compliance, partnerships, and operations. You'll source candidates directly, manage interview processes, and help close offers while partnering with the founders on high-priority hires.

The role requires strong sourcing skills, a track record of closing passive candidates, and comfort in an early-stage fintech/crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a high-growth startup or fintech/crypto company.
• Experience hiring for technical roles and at least one of compliance, partnerships, sales, or operations.
• Strong sourcing skills with a track record of closing candidates who weren't actively looking.
• Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously with timely updates.
• Comfortable leading offer and closing conversations including compensation and equity.
• Hands-on experience with an ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever) and using data to improve the process.
• Clear, direct writing in outreach and internal communication.
• Adaptable in an early-stage environment with evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle searches across engineering, compliance, partnerships, and operations.
• Source candidates directly and build pipelines for future roles as the company grows.
• Manage the candidate experience from first outreach to signed offer.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define what a strong hire looks like and design interview loops.
• Prepare offers and manage closing conversations, including compensation and equity.
• Own HIFI's applicant tracking system and report on pipeline health, time to hire, and offer acceptance rates.
• Help build HIFI's employer brand through job posts and outreach.
• Improve hiring processes as the team scales.
