Job summary

F2 is hiring a Founding Technical Recruiter to shape the technical recruiting function as we scale. You will own end-to-end searches, build deep pipelines of exceptional software engineers, and partner closely with engineering leadership to map markets and calibrate profiles.

You'll drive a high-velocity hiring process, maintain an excellent candidate experience, and help define recruiting systems as F2 grows, including sourcing from passive markets and shaping interview workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience with meaningful experience hiring technical talent.
• A track record of sourcing and hiring exceptional software engineers.
• Strong technical sourcing skills and ability to identify great candidates beyond obvious profiles.
• Comfortable recruiting passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets.
• Strong judgment and ability to calibrate quickly with technical hiring managers.
• Excellent candidate management and closing skills.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own technical searches end-to-end across Engineering and other technical functions.
• Build deep pipelines of exceptional passive engineering talent.
• Develop talent maps across target companies, technical backgrounds, and geographies.
• Partner with engineering leadership to define profiles and calibrate on talent.
• Source and engage highly sought-after candidates through personalized outreach.
• Run a high-quality candidate process from first conversation through offer and close.
• Understand F2's technology, product, and engineering culture and communicate that to candidates.
• Help hiring managers build structured interview processes and scorecards.
• Use pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring velocity.
• Maintain an exceptional candidate experience while moving quickly.
• Help improve recruiting systems, processes, and tools as we scale.
