Job summary

Quill Bank is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives and fintech partnerships. You will evaluate prospective partners, perform due diligence, monitor relationship performance, and help fintech programs operate within a regulated banking environment.

You will work on compliance, risk, and relationship structures that fintech companies rely on to operate at scale and enable responsible lending and prime access for consumers.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial statements and forecasts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to evaluate business opportunities within a regulated banking environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in banking or fintech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate prospective fintech partners and maintain business development pipeline records for Quill initiatives.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive research to identify partnership and growth opportunities.
• Participate in introductory meetings with prospective fintech partners to assess business models, strategic fit, and business needs.
• Assist with due diligence activities, including financial statement analysis, financial projections, compliance reviews, licensing assessments, and portfolio performance evaluations.
• Review contracts and agreements and summarize key legal, business, and regulatory considerations.
• Support development and evaluation of new business initiatives and strategic opportunities for Quill Bank.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics to support business objectives and reporting requirements.
• Assist with onboarding, implementation, launch readiness, and ongoing relationship management activities.
• Monitor fintech relationship performance and escalate concerns or identified risks appropriately.
• Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion while meeting deadlines and communicating status updates.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of approved enhancements.
