Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking a part-time Fintech Operations Analyst to support client programs with a focus on compliance, ACH processing, and transactional support. The role requires at least 20 hours per week and reports to the VP Network Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
• Ability to take feedback and seek direction quickly.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-tasking team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and work across the multiple systems used to support client programs.
• Demonstrates strong motivation, accountability, and resilience in pursuing goals, delivering high-quality results, and continuously improving performance.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn and use approved AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and work quality, while keeping use compliant with Bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Monitoring and Risk Reporting: Monitors transactional and compliance reports to detect parameter breaches, regulatory violations, or potential fraudulent activity.
• Conduits unusual activity reports for the Financial Crimes Risk Management team following established procedures.
• Automated Clearing House (ACH) Processing and Regulatory Compliance: Reviews ACH-related inquiries and exception items, completing required processing, account maintenance, and follow-up per regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Reviews ACH return requests and supporting documentation to ensure accurate, timely processing per NACHA rules and procedures.
• Payment and Account Transaction Support: Processes government-related payment activity on time and per regulations.
• Handles client and cardholder requests to issue checks and close accounts per cardholder agreements.
• Responds to check-related inquiries, including stop payments and replacement checks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Program Support: Collaborates with internal departments to support account review, restriction, closure, and remediation.
• Builds strong working relationships with program operations managers to address client issues and support problem-solving.
• Assists with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure seamless program execution.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels.
• Supports assigned projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• There is travel not required.
