Job summary

The Bancorp in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a part-time Fintech Operations Analyst to support client programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role reports to the VP Network Operations Manager and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.

You will monitor risk, process ACH and government‑related payments, support account reviews, and collaborate across internal teams to resolve issues and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
• Ability to take feedback and seek direction quickly.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi‑tasking team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and work across the multiple systems used to support client programs.
• Demonstrates strong motivation, accountability, and resilience in pursuing goals, delivering high‑quality results, and continuously improving performance.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn and use approved artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, and work quality, while keeping use compliant with Bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Monitoring and Risk Reporting.
• Monitor transactional and compliance reports to detect parameter breaches, regulatory violations, or potential fraudulent activity.
• Conduct account reviews and prepare Unusual Activity Reports for the Financial Crimes Risk Management team.
• ACH Processing and Regulatory Compliance.
• Review and resolve ACH inquiries and exception items per NACHA rules and internal policies.
• Process government-related payment activity accurately and on time.
• Handle client and cardholder requests to issue checks and manage fund debits/closures.
• Respond to check-related inquiries, initiate stop payments and issue replacements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Program Support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support account review, restriction, closure, and remediation processes.
• Build strong relationships with program operations managers to address client issues.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for seamless program execution.
• Client Relationship Management.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels.
• Support assigned projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
