Job summary

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee high-volume transaction accounting, ensure accurate earnings, and strengthen systems to support growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in fintech, payment processing, or high-volume transaction environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll.
• Oversee reconciliation of high-volume payment flows and trust account disbursements.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure PCI-DSS, SOC 2 compliance where applicable.
• Manage cash concentration and forecasting to support operations.
• Coordinate with external tax partners for filings.
• Provide insights for budgeting, variance analysis, and planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA, CMA, or CCM strongly preferred
