Job summary

Autoscribe Corporation, a fintech leader in payment processing, is seeking a hands-on Controller to guide our accounting function in Oregon. You will oversee AP/AR/GL payroll, drive accurate financial reporting, and strengthen controls in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape financial strategy, optimize processes, and lead a high-performing team to support growth and regulatory compliance in a high-volume business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in fintech, payment processing, or high-volume transaction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll.
• Oversee reconciliation of high-volume payment flows and trust account disbursements.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to leadership.
• Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer to strengthen internal controls and fraud prevention measures.
• Oversee forecasting and liquidity planning to support operational needs.
• Act as liaison with external tax partners for filings.
• Analyze program and campaign performance, including yield and profitability.
• Support annual budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Provide insights that guide growth and operational decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
