Job summary

Pelican Golf Club is seeking a hospitality-driven server for its fine dining restaurant in the clubhouse. The role focuses on delivering thoughtful, personalized service to members and guests, with dinner service available Thursday through Saturday and a shared tip pool program rewarding exceptional guest service.

Candidates should have background in fine dining or luxury hospitality, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, country club, or private club service preferred.
• Passion for hospitality with a commitment to exceptional member experiences.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful, attentive service while anticipating member preferences and creating a memorable dining experience.
• Welcome and acknowledge members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and hospitality.
• Develop knowledge of menus and daily features to confidently guide dining selections.
• Execute each course with proper timing, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Learn and remember members' names, preferences, and dining habits for personalized service.
• Uphold club service standards, etiquette, and dining room procedures.
• Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house teams for seamless communication and execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, presentation-ready station throughout each shift.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and club policies while maintaining a polished appearance.
• Support special events and additional operational needs as assigned.
• Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed.
