Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Bourbon Steak Server Assistant to deliver consistently professional, friendly service and support the Food & Beverage team in a luxury dining setting. You will assist servers, guide guests on menu items, and help ensure the proper setup of side stations while upholding safety and service standards.

Knowledge of beverage offerings, menu contents, and preparation methods is essential, along with a calm, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous fine dining service experience required.
• Previous POS system experience an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet
• Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
