Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess seeks a server assistant to support the Food & Beverage team and help set the stage for memorable dining experiences.

You will exhibit hospitality, learn all products and procedures, and assist servers while maintaining table settings and station cleanliness. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced luxury environment at our resort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least one year in food and beverage
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Responsibilities

• Exhibit sincere hospitality and go above and beyond for guests.
• Complete knowledge of all products, procedures, and standards.
• Be an expert on restaurant-related topics; assist tests and answer questions.
• Offer the highest level of support to servers and the team.
• Clear tables and coordinate with bussers to ensure adequate hands on deck.
• Set tables flawlessly, check settings, and maintain neatness.
• Stock side stations and maintain pars of silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Polish items, keep them fingerprint-free, and stock stations quietly.
• Maintain water levels and track which tables are drinking what water.
• Clean spills, grab brooms, and keep dining areas tidy.
• Maintain overall dining room cleanliness and station readiness.
• Perform all assigned side work before, during, and after shifts.
