Placements24 is partnering with a highly regarded fine-dining establishment in Randburg, Gauteng, to hire an experienced Restaurant Manager. The role demands a leader with a passion for exceptional service, strong culinary understanding, and robust operational skills to drive daily success.

You will oversee staff, operations, quality control, budgeting, and guest experience in a high-volume setting, collaborating with the kitchen and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Formación

• 5–7 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in fine dining.
• Experience in staff recruitment, training and development.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and cost control.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
• Manage and mentor staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Enforce health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Control food and beverage costs and manage inventory and supplier relationships.
• Develop strategies to enhance guest experience and drive loyalty.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain ambiance and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team on menu development and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
