Job summary

Legends is seeking a Prep Cook to deliver quick, high-quality service in a fine dining setting with strict sanitation. You will follow Chef directives, prepare items to spec, and maintain temperatures and cleanliness across the kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have culinary training or fast-paced experience, can multitask in a team, and are fluent in English. The role requires physical stamina and availability for extended hours and events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Culinary training or fast-paced fine dining experience preferred.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Must read, speak and write in English.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening and closing procedures as directed by Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisors.
• Prepare items according to portion sizes and quality standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation in all work areas.
• Keep kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Work as a team to ensure excellent service and product delivery.
• Handle and clean kitchen equipment safely.
• Adhere to appearance and uniform standards.
