Legends Global is seeking a Prep Cook to support high-volume kitchen operations and deliver exceptional culinary execution in a fast-paced environment.

This role focuses on ingredient prep, recipe adherence, and assisting line cooks to maintain food quality and safety standards. Candidates should be 18+, with related experience and a preference for culinary training, and must meet local food-handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of kitchen or culinary experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification preferred or required by local regulations.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for service including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, marinating and storing.
• Follow recipes, portion standards and production guidelines.
• Assist line cooks and leadership with daily prep and event execution.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation practices.
• Label, date and store food products per standards.
• Keep prep stations, walk-ins and storage areas clean and organized.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with receiving, rotating and stocking deliveries using FIFO.
• Support team to ensure timely service and efficiency.
• Adhere to appearance, attendance and uniform guidelines.
