Responsibilities

• Prepare items according to the recipe.
• Ensure food quality.
• Set up the station and breakdown station.
• Prepare food items on time.
• Assist co-workers throughout the shift.
• Ensure all products are rotating on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Process requisitions and place in designated area.
• Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items regularly.
• Label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Read, measure, and execute recipes.
• Maintain menu knowledge and plate presentation.
• Prepare both hot and cold items.
• Assist teammates in service execution.
• Maintain knowledge of base sauces, stocks, and soups.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and service staff about issues or needs.
