Job summary

Monarch Restaurant, part of Maple Hospitality Group, is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume setting in Dallas. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage staff training, and partner with culinary and finance teams to optimize revenue and costs.

You will cultivate in-house training, ensure sanitation and safety, and uphold the brand’s service standards while providing growth opportunities for the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Management experience.
• High volume restaurant experience is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and service.
• Polished, professional, and energetic approach to floor management.
• Ability to work well in a systems-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the management team to create solutions for increased revenue and reduced spending.
• Collaborate with accounting personnel to report expenditures.
• Regularly collaborate on restaurant-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Recruit exceptional hourly staff members and ensure they’re properly trained to execute duties above expectations.
• Cultivate the restaurant’s in-house training program for all hourly positions and ensure knowledge retention.
• Prepare for and participate in weekly Manager meetings.
• Work with the chef team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction by auditing menu items and communicating with guests during service.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing sanitation standards and complying with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other departments.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Respond quickly to guest complaints and follow up to exceed hospitality standards.
• Adjust the environment, music, lighting, and temperature to maintain the right atmosphere.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and network with press publications.
