Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development in Atlanta, GA seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee all F&B outlets, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

You will bring at least two years in a supervisory role in fine dining or hotels, solid wine/beverage knowledge, and a Serve Safe certification. Responsibilities include payroll, scheduling, training, and cost control to maintain top service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in an Assistant Manager or Manager role at fine dining restaurant or hotel.
• Fine dining, wine, and beverage knowledge base.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Serve Safe certificate or working toward renewal.
• Strong ownership in all duties.
• Experience training and coaching restaurant staff.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High school diploma or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality service and guest experience.
• Supervise daily shift operations with Restaurant Managers and support staff.
• Create a positive guest atmosphere; respond to requests, problems, or complaints promptly.
• Maintain payroll accuracy and deadlines for hours, PTO, holidays.
• Train, motivate, coach, and discipline F&B team members per hotel standards.
• Prepare F&B team schedules based on forecast and budget; submit to GM/HR.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings as required.
• Control costs via purchase orders, vouchers, invoices, and checkbook accounting.
