Job summary

Biltmore Estate is seeking a Server Assistant/Dining Room Attendant for approximately 20 hours per week to support servers and deliver a premier dining experience. You will assist with water service, bread and butter, and table resets while keeping dining areas tidy and stocked for service.

Weekend and holiday availability is required, with a flexible 1st/2nd shift pattern based on restaurant volume, prioritizing guest satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position preferred, particularly in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Commitment to delivering world class guest service in a team environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive and able to take initiative as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guest service pertaining to replenishing table items, anticipating guest needs, and clearing areas.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures, standards, andPolicies.
• Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, including restrictions on minors and intoxication.
• Replace soiled linens, clean tables, and set tables with silverware and glassware.
• Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and monitoring spills.
• Close dining facility by cleaning areas and handling trash and recyclables.
