Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Server Assistant/Dining Room Attendant to support servers and enhance guest dining experiences. This role includes water service, bread service, table resets, and maintaining dining areas across shifts with weekend and holiday availability.

The ideal candidate will have strong guest-service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Flex schedule averages 20–29 hours per week and compensation ranges with tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Commitment to delivering world-class guest service and the ability to work as part of a dynamic, guest-service oriented team.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to perform essential job functions with speed and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to be proactive and take initiative as appropriate.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guest service pertaining to replenishing table items, anticipating and addressing guest needs, and clearing dining area according to restaurant procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures, established standards, and policies.
• Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
• Replaces soiled table linens, cleans tables, and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; monitoring for spills or special needs.
• Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables.
