Job summary

Citizens Bankers at our Cranford, NJ branch deliver trusted financial advice and personalized service to help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.

You will build lasting relationships, introduce digital banking tools, and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to tailor solutions for each customer. A High School diploma or GED and 2 years of sales/customer service are preferred, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions
• Support spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Adhere to all financial policies and cash handling procedures
