Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Branch Banker in Cranford, NJ to greet customers, understand their financial needs, and provide trusted advice. You will help clients with spending, saving, borrowing and investing, while promoting digital banking tools and services.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams, build lasting relationships, and engage in outbound calls to grow the client base. Competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS ID.
• Video interview assessment after applying with a 30–45 minute self-guided session.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Provide tailored recommendations based on customers' personal financial goals.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking tools and channels.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
