Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go and allied brands. You will deliver outstanding customer service, ensure regulatory excellence, and educate customers on the full product portfolio while meeting store goals.

This role includes cash handling, POS transactions, and adherence to policies, with responsibilities ranging from answering inquiries to supporting bank deposits. Travel within district and shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio and present options to meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with customer applications.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations.
• Respond professionally to customers and ensure they feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle currency and cash drawers; manage deposits as required.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and keep knowledge up to date.
• Other duties as assigned.
