Job summary

Sunward is seeking a Financial Services Consultant 1 in Albuquerque, NM to help grow credit union relationships through consultative sales and personalized service. You’ll handle routine transactions, open accounts, and assist with consumer loans while pursuing entry-level sales goals.

You’ll engage members with needs-based conversations, provide digital banking guidance, and collaborate with teams to meet branch objectives, all within established workflows and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required; experience in financial institutions preferred.
• Willingness to perform proactive outreach and occasional outbound calls.
• Comfort with learning basic financial products and digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services to strengthen relationships.
• Work toward sales goals through needs-based conversations and proactive outreach.
• Provide friendly, accurate service during routine branch transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries.
• Open new memberships and standard deposit accounts following policies and verification requirements.
• Support standard consumer loan origination and servicing, including intake, disclosures, and system entry.
