Innodata is seeking a Business Development Representative for Financial Services to identify and qualify new opportunities in banks, insurers, asset managers, and fintechs, focusing on AI and data services. The role blends outbound prospecting with targeted research to uncover strategic priorities and initiate conversations with senior stakeholders.

You will engage prospects via email, LinkedIn, events, and other channels, building qualified pipelines and coordinating with subject-matter experts

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, technology sales, financial technology, or AI data services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in concise, personalized outreach for senior prospects.
• Comfort communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial services workflows such as underwriting, claims, fraud detection, customer operations, risk management, or compliance.

Aufgaben

• Identify and source prospective customers across financial services, including banking, insurance, asset management, capital markets, wealth management, payments, and fintech.
• Research target accounts to identify AI initiatives, strategic priorities, technology investments, organizational changes, product launches, and other potential triggers.
• Identify and engage decision makers across AI, data science, machine learning, technology, risk, compliance, product, and digital transformation groups.
• Develop highly targeted outbound campaigns using email, LinkedIn, industry events, conferences, and other prospecting channels.
• Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for Innodata’s Financial Services segment.
• Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand customer priorities, AI initiatives, data requirements, technical challenges, timelines, and potential engagement areas.
