Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Maintain, develop, and automate reports to provide key business partners with actionable insights.
  • Month-End Close Support: Assist with responsibilities during monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
  • Standard Costing: Maintain and update critical aspects of the standard cost process, exposing manufacturing finance to you.
  • Profitability Analysis: Partner with FP&A, Commercial, and Strategies teams to analyze product and customer profitability data.
  • Project Support: Support FP&A on strategic finance initiatives, process automation, and data visualization.

Job description

Job Category: Temporary/Other Job Family: Intern. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern will be an inquisitive and analytical contributor supporting all areas of the FP&A Team.


This internship offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $18.75


What you’ll do:


  • Reporting: Maintain, develop, and automate reports to provide key business partners with actionable insights.

  • Month-End Close Support: Assist with various responsibilities during the monthly financial close process, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

  • Standard Costing: Assist in maintaining and updating critical aspects of the standard cost process, gaining exposure to manufacturing finance.

  • Profitability Analysis: Partner with FP&A, Commercial, and Strategies teams to organize, analyze, and interpret product and customer profitability data.

  • Project Support: Support the broader FP&A team on strategic finance initiatives, process automation, and data visualization as needed.


What you need to succeed:


  • Current student with a major field of study in Finance or Accounting.

  • Preferring Sophomore/Junior status.

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.

  • Ability to work year-round at our Home Office located in Green Bay, WI.

  • Ability to work successfully both independently and in teams.

  • Comfortable collaborating within Finance and cross-functionally.

  • Strong aptitude for learning technology.

Travel & Logistics Requirements:

For positions that require any amount of travel: Valid driver's license, auto insurance (at least state minimum- more might be required), acceptable driving record per Schreiber Foods discretion, and vehicle that will ensure applicant can meet the travel necessities of the position are required.
