Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Management Internship for Summer 2027. This 100% on-site program offers exposure to leadership, process improvements, and a range of operations projects at our U.S.

manufacturing facilities. The paid internship pays $22.00 per hour and provides relocation assistance for eligible interns. You will work with plant leadership to meet daily production goals, learn about production lines, and help communicate customer requirements to teams.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Dairy Science, Food Science, Animal Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality or related field.
  • Willingness to relocate for Summer 2027 to manufacturing plants in the U.S. (Carthage MO, Shippensburg PA, Logan UT, Beloit/West Bend WI).
  • Enrollment as a student during the internship period (Spring 2027 grads or earlier not considered).
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week for a 10+ week summer internship.
  • Reliable transportation and proven leadership experience.

This role is 100% on-site at our manufacturing facilities: Missouri (Carthage), Pennsylvania (Shippensburg), Utah (Logan), Wisconsin (Beloit, West Bend). Relocation Assistance is provided if relocating 50 miles or more for this internship.

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $22.00.

What you’ll do:
  • Exposure to people leadership, process improvements, and a variety of operations projects
  • Gain understanding of production lines and processes
  • Assisting in projects to improve quality, productivity, and ensure a food-safe product.
  • Working with the plant leadership to meet or exceed daily production goals
  • Identifying customer requirements and communicating them to the team
  • Collaborating to improve plant productivity and increase efficiency
  • Identifying and resolving process issues as they arise
  • Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements.
  • Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
  • Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
What you need to succeed:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Agriculture, Dairy Science, Food Science, Animal Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality or related/similar degree
  • Willingness to relocate for Summer 2027 to our manufacturing plants in the U.S. We have opportunities in the following communities: Missouri (Carthage), Pennsylvania (Shippensburg), Utah (Logan), Wisconsin (Beloit, West Bend).
  • Students must be enrolled as a student during the time of the internship (Spring 2027 grads or previous graduates will not be considered).
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week during the 2027 summer.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Proven leadership experience & desire to lead people in the future

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Power Point
