Qualifications

• One year as a Fiscal Assistant, or three years maintaining fiscal or financial records with some accounting exposure.
• High school diploma required; or one year in fiscal records with an associate degree in accounting or business administration.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Financial Review: verify records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures.
• Ledger Posting: post data to general ledger accounts from subsidiary reports.
• Revenue Processing: prepare and reconcile incoming revenue (cash, checks, donations).
• Payroll Maintenance: maintain agency payroll, post changes, review outputs, and prepare reports.
• Record Management: maintain filing systems; process fiscal documents for federal/state/county reporting.
• System Utilization: use agency software/databases to complete forms, documents, and reports.
