Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Elk County Children & Youth Services seeks a meticulous Fiscal Technician to support accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This Civil Service, full-time role is based in Ridgway, PA, with a Monday-Friday schedule.

You will manage ledgers, assist audits, process invoices, review contracts, and coordinate with caseworkers and administrators to ensure accurate financial records and compliant operations for county and state programs.

Qualifications

• One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or three years maintaining fiscal or financial records with some accounting experience; and high school graduation.
• One year of experience maintaining fiscal records with an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and ledgers to support accurate reporting and reimbursements.
• Review and participate in audits to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
• Prepare reports, projections, and updates to support budget development for county and state budgets.
• Submit invoices for reimbursements and oversee time studies for accuracy.
• Evaluate provider documentation to confirm contract requirements are met.
• Coordinate with caseworkers, supervisors, administrators and other involved entities.
