Job summary

Corporate Resources of Illinois, Ltd. is seeking an Accounting & Financial Operations Analyst to join our finance team and support AP/AR in NetSuite. The role covers invoice processing, payment tracking, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

You will research discrepancies, communicate with vendors and business partners, and help resolve issues that require a closer look. This position offers growth and collaboration with the VP of Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to handle financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Good problem-solving and proactive investigation.
• Clear communication with external business partners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, verifying supporting documentation, entering transactions in NetSuite, and coordinating payments.
• Support accounts receivable processes by monitoring incoming payments, reviewing account activity, and maintaining accurate records.
• Reconcile account balances and compare invoices, payments, and transaction records to identify inconsistencies and maintain accurate financial data.
• Investigate discrepancies involving invoices, payment records, and supporting documentation, identifying the source of errors and determining the appropriate resolution.
• Communicate with vendors and other business partners to clarify billing questions, resolve payment issues, and obtain missing information.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in NetSuite and internal systems, ensuring transactions and supporting documentation are properly recorded.
• Use Excel to organize financial information, compare records, track outstanding items, and support reconciliations.
• Assist with account reviews, financial reporting, and other accounting projects as needed.
• Work directly with the VP of Finance on daily accounting operations, special projects, and process improvements.
