Job summary

Corporate Resources of Illinois is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lincolnshire, IL to own the AP cycle, perform three-way matching, and ensure timely payments while supporting AR activities. You will work directly with the Accounting Manager to maintain accurate records and efficient processing using NetSuite and Excel.

Ideal candidates have hands-on NetSuite experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP), and a detail-oriented approach to resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year owning the accounts payable process with exposure to accounts receivable.
• Experience three-way matching is required.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to research discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• High school diploma; some college coursework in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice review and matching through payment processing and posting.
• Perform three-way matching to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and coordinate scheduled check runs, electronic payments, and other vendor payments.
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure transactions are properly entered and recorded in NetSuite.
• Reconcile monthly liability accounts and research discrepancies to ensure balances are accurate.
• Download financial and ERP reports into Excel to analyze data, investigate variances, and provide additional reporting as needed.
• Support accounts receivable activities by applying and posting incoming customer payments and maintaining accurate cash collection records.
• Process customer deposit refunds and assist with month-end close activities as needed.

Our Lincolnshire team is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with hands-on NetSuite experience to take ownership of the day-to-day AP process while providing support with accounts receivable. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping AP operations running smoothly, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring invoices and payments are processed efficiently.

What You'll Do
