Job summary

Matrix Sciences International is seeking an Accountant to support NetSuite ERP, automation tools, payroll systems, and reporting, while handling day-to-day accounting and financial reporting in Chicago. Key duties include accounts payable support, month-end close, financial analysis, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations and IT.

Requirements: 5+ years in accounting, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, NetSuite experience, and Power BI; offers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
5+ years of accounting or finance experience with a strong understanding of general ledger mapping.
Experience with NetSuite ERP and troubleshooting ERP systems.
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, presentation skills, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Assist Accounts Payable: vendor management, invoice review, and payment processing.
Support Month-End Close: reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
Analyze Financials: monthly data analysis and management reporting.
Track Metrics: evaluate KPIs during close for insights.
Partner Across Teams: collaborate with Finance, Operations and IT to optimize systems and processes.
