Ardent seeks a Financial Data Analyst to support investigations into healthcare fraud, providing high-quality financial analyses, developing data pipelines, and enhancing analytical capabilities.

This is a Remote opportunity.

Position Description:

The analyst will collaborate with investigators, analysts, and program coordinators to perform complex financial analyses, develop data pipelines, and support forensic accounting investigations related to healthcare fraud. Responsibilities include training, leading learning initiatives, and developing tools for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Support financial analysis for investigations.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover healthcare fraud and violations.
  • Utilize tools like CFIS, Checkwriter, Bankscan, Excel, and OCR technology for data analysis.
  • Create products and analyses for legal testimony.
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines for analysis and visualization.
  • Automate workflows to improve analysis accuracy and speed.
  • Provide training on financial analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Lead learning sessions and develop training materials.
  • Collaborate with teams to align analytical outputs with investigative needs.
  • Document workflows and analysis methods.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial data analysis within investigative or forensic accounting contexts, especially healthcare fraud.
  • Proficiency with CFIS, Checkwriter, Bankscan, OCR, or ability to learn quickly.
  • Skills in data wrangling, analysis, visualization, and workflow development.
  • Experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Strong communication skills for documentation and presentation.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, R, SQL).
  • Familiarity with visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, ArcGIS.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of fraud detection tools and healthcare systems.
  • Experience leading communities of practice or virtual training.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations.
  • Experience in forensic examination of financial records, with emphasis on uncovering suspicious activity.
  • Ability to present investigation findings and discuss strategies with teams and legal personnel.
