Job Summary:

Join a dynamic middle-office team focused on securities pricing and portfolio support within a large financial institution. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with a background in finance, data analysis, or accounting. You will play a key role in managing and validating market and client data, supporting mutual fund and ETF valuation activities, and contributing to a broader data governance process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data management activities to support daily mutual fund and ETF valuation operations
  • Review, escalate, and resolve data exceptions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Compile, synthesize, and report data from internal bank systems and external market sources
  • Manage or assist with access, maintenance, and security of moderately complex databases and data feeds
  • Conduct preliminary calculations and draft standard reports for senior team members
  • Extract and analyze data using querying techniques and provide market development insights
  • Support internal clients across downstream teams such as Accounting, Performance, and Derivatives
  • Monitor onboarding of new clients, ensuring timely file delivery, validation processes, and dashboard tracking
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, documenting and verifying all customer interactions
  • Collaborate within a team of 8, while performing independent tasks as needed
  • Typical hours are - Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm with possible OT

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to escalate issues promptly and effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including use of formulas and VLOOKUP
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding of financial instruments such as stocks and bonds
  • Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with portfolios, securities, or mutual fund operations
  • Understanding of data validation and day-over-day change processes
  • Exposure to SQL querying (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working with the Eagle financial accounting platform is a plus (training will be provided)

Pay Rate Range
