The Role

Presidio is seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong focus on Data & Analytics to work on complex analytical projects within our Finance team. This role involves analyzing financial data, interpreting key performance metrics, and utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive financial performance. You will serve as a business partner, working closely with various stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations, optimize financial planning, and improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Data Analysis, Modeling, Reporting, and Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets based on historical data and predictive analytics.
• Highlight potential analytical issues proactively and resolve them independently.
• Synthesize analyses and derive insights independently.
• Prepare regular financial reports, presentations, and dashboards highlighting key metrics, root causes, trends, and anomalies to support decision-making.
• Provide actionable insights to senior management on financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Collaborate with business partners to incorporate financial insights into planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills focused on financial modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for developing Board and Executive level presentations.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Ability to translate large and complex data sets into understandable visual reports for stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience presenting financial trends and opportunities to leadership and business stakeholders.
• Experience developing KPIs and dashboards.
• Deep experience working with ERP and financial planning systems (e.g., OneStream, D365).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or certifications like CFA are a plus.
• 5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, especially in data analytics, financial planning, or business intelligence.
• Experience in the hardware/software/SaaS industry is a plus.
