Job summary

Coastal Pools is seeking a Financial Coordinator in Grasonville, MD to support the Finance team with day-to-day transactional and administrative tasks. The role emphasizes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expenses, and vendor management to maintain accurate records and compliance.

As an entry-level to mid-level development opportunity, you will work under the Finance Director, grow accounting skills, and potentially progress toward Senior Financial Coordinator or Accountant tracks as you

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, finance, or administrative accounting experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and other business software.
• Experience working with invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, reconciliations, or financial records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with accurate coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Prepare weekly AP runs for review and approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with vendors regarding invoice and payment questions.
