Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience as Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant or similar.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and close processes.
• Ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial controls.
• Support growth with leadership and mentorship of the finance team.

Our client is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join its finance leadership team as a Financial Controller. About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the continued growth of the business. You'll work closely with senior leadership while developing your management and leadership skills.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years' accounting experience.
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant or similar.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• CPA or Master's Degree is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous management experience is welcomed but not required—we're happy to develop the right person.
