Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. seeks a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function at one of its largest operations. This senior, hands-on leadership role reports to executive leadership and guides a team across accounting, cost accounting, and FP&A.

You will oversee close, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, partner with operations, ensure internal controls, and present results to the senior team. A CPA is strongly preferred along with cost accounting and audit experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Cost accounting experience required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background.
• Experience with inventory controls and internal controls.
• Experience managing or supporting financial audits.
• Leadership experience managing an accounting/finance team.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to senior leadership.

• FP&A experience preferred.
• IFRS experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP is helpful.

A well-established and growing company is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function at one of its largest operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position with responsibility for a significant business and direct exposure to executive leadership.

The Opportunity

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial activities for the site while partnering closely with senior operational and executive leadership. This person will lead a team across accounting, cost accounting, and FP&A and will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, analysis, and business decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for a finance leader who is comfortable in a complex operating environment, understands cost accounting, and can move between detailed accounting matters and broader financial strategy.

The Controller will lead a finance and accounting organization that includes cost accounting, FP&A, accounting management, and additional accounting staff.

• $180,000–$225,000+ base salary, depending on experience
• Approximately 25% target bonus
