Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Financial Assistance Representative to evaluate and assist patients for NJ Medicaid, NJ Charity Care, and Get Covered NJ, including completing applications and ensuring timely enrollment in NJ Family Care.

The role requires onsite work across the south/central New Jersey facilities with 7:00am-3:30pm shifts and travel between sites as needed. Strong customer service and data entry skills are essential.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with NJ Charity Care regulations, NJFC program, or related financial assistance programs preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Willing to travel to other HMH sites within the region.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in completing financial assistance applications and obtain signatures.
• Ask screening questions to determine qualifications and identify needed documentation.
• Analyze documents to ensure compliance with State regulations.
• Use online insurance eligibility systems to verify eligibility for assistance.
• Answer calls promptly using approved greetings and scripts; check voicemails within one hour.
• Enter data into NJ PE/NJFC systems and HMH workflow with accurate notes and status.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and collaborate with departments for reimbursement.
