Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Financial Analyst 2 to join the Integrated Media Analysis team in San Francisco. This hybrid role supports both Media and Finance to maintain accurate budgets, pacing, POs, reconciliations, and billing records.

You will help connect media activity with finance operations and drive timely issue resolution across stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying process improvements, automation, and AI solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in Finance Operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital media, marketing, advertising, or finance operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets, reconciliations, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with purchase orders, media billing, budget tracking, or financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional Support: Partner with Media and Finance stakeholders to ensure financial processes and information remain aligned and up to date.
• Process Improvement & AI: Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI solutions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across Finance Operations.
• Financial Controls & Reporting: Monitor budget utilization, identify risks or discrepancies, and support regular financial reporting.
• Billing & Reconciliation: Partner with Media, Finance, agencies, and vendors to resolve billing and reconciliation discrepancies.
• PO & Funding Management: Support PO management, budget transfers, funding changes, and related finance workflows.
• Budget & Financial Operations: Support budget tracking, checkbook QA, reconciliation, and overall financial accuracy across media investments.

• Experience using AI tools or automation to improve finance or operational processes.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $42.77/hour
