Job summary

VARITE INC in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst 2 to support budgeting, reconciliations, and finance operations across Media and Finance teams. This hybrid role requires attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in digital media, finance operations, or marketing finance, advanced Excel skills, and experience with PO management and billing processes. Contract: 12 months, W2, immediate start.

Qualifications

• We require 3+ years of experience in digital media, marketing, advertising, or finance operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large datasets, reconciliations, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with purchase orders, media billing, budget tracking, or financial reconciliation.
• Understanding of media planning/buying workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional support with Media and Finance stakeholders to keep information aligned.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI solutions to increase efficiency.
• Monitor budget utilization, risks, and support financial reporting.
• Partner with agencies and vendors to resolve billing and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Support PO management, budget transfers, and funding changes.
• Maintain budget tracking and reconciliation across media investments.
