Job summary

Victoria College is seeking a part-time Student Worker for the Fall 2026 semester in the Financial Aid Department to assist staff with customer service and basic office duties. Qualifications

• Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and 3 credit hours in the summer
• English proficiency
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills
• Friendly and professional attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to establish and meet timelines
• Ability to function as a team player who is dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing office duties such as answering phones, greeting students, monitoring email, scanning, copying, filing and organizing non-confidential office materials
• Directing students to appropriate resources or staff members
• Answering general questions using approved, publicly available financial aid information
• Follow all FERPA guidelines
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Financial Aid Counselor and staff
