Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Financial Aid Processing Analyst in UNLV Financial Aid. This role handles packaging, awarding, troubleshooting, and cleanup of federal/state grants and loans on student accounts.

You will process awards in PeopleSoft and SFA, resolve processing issues, and participate in outreach to explain aid processes to students and families. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years related professional experience.
• Experience with financial aid packaging, awarding and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Process awards and changes to awards from receipt of application to completion in PeopleSoft and SFA.
• Troubleshoot and close out federal/state grants and federal loans on student accounts.
• Engage in outreach with prospective and current students and explain financial aid processes.
• Manage case work and resolve issues escalated by constituents via SF/PS/SFA reports.
