Job summary
UNLV is seeking a Processing Analyst within Financial Aid Processing to manage packaging, awarding, and troubleshooting of Federal and State grants and Federal loans on student accounts. Responsibilities include processing changes to awards in PeopleSoft and SFA, resolving workflow issues, and supporting outreach activities for students and families.
The role supports enrollment growth and equitable student outcomes, requiring collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to university policies.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and 1–3 years of related professional experience.
- Experience with federal/state financial aid processes and student accounts preferred.
- Ability to resolve issues through case management and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Process awards and changes to awards from application to completion in PeopleSoft and SFA.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in financial aid workflows.
- Attend outreach activities to meet prospective and current students and explain financial aid processes.
- Review student accounts for eligibility and award status and communicate outcomes.
