Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Financial Aid Scholarship Counselor, UNLV Financial Aid. This role supports processing scholarship awards and ensures donor programs disburse according to policy and regulations.

You will work with the Recruitment team, UNLV Foundation, Graduate College, and other departments, analyzing data in spreadsheets and generating reports to promote enrollment success and equitable outcomes. Some evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and 1–3 years of related professional experience.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to start date.
• 1–3 years in customer service, public speaking, presentations, in fast-paced environments, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing timely scholarship awards and ensure disbursements comply with donor specifications and policies.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, UNLV Foundation, Graduate College, and various departments and offices to support scholarship programs.
• Analyze scholarship program data in spreadsheets and prepare reports to monitor and improve outcomes.
