Job summary
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the Financial Aid Processing Analyst position in UNLV Financial Aid [R0152149]. This role reports to the Senior Assistant Director and the Processing Coordinator, handling packaging, awarding, and troubleshooting of federal/state aid, loans, and related processes in PS/SF/SFA.
The analyst will engage in case management, attend outreach events with students and families, and contribute to enrollment growth and equitable student success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required and 1–3 years related professional experience.
- Credentials must be obtained prior to employment start date.
- Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Employee must not be in overpayment or default status for any Federal Student Aid program or award.
Responsibilities
- Carry out processes surrounding packaging, awarding, troubleshooting and clean-up of Federal and State grants and Federal and private loans on student accounts.
- Process awards and changes to awards from receipt of application to completion in PeopleSoft and SFA.
- Resolve issues with financial aid processes escalated by constituents via case management in SF or queries from PS or SFA.
- Attend outreach activities to meet with prospective and current students and review eligibility and award status.
- Support enrollment growth, retention, and equitable outcomes through services and collaboration.
